10 Holiday Events For The Whole Family

Festival of lights, tree lighting and caroling will be sure to get everyone in the mood for the holidays.

Get out a pen and mark your calendar. There are some great events around town to help celebrate the season. 

 

1. The East Hampton Chamber Chamber of Commerce Santa Parade 

Find out what's happening in Westhampton-Hampton Bayswith free, real-time updates from Patch.

The parade will be held on December 4 from 10:00 am to 11:00 a.m. on Main Street.  For more information, call (631) 324-0362. 

2. Bideawee Photos with Santa

Get your pets decked out for the holidays and take them over to Bideawee, 118 Old Country Road, in Westhampton on December 4 to get their holiday photo taken with santa. For more information, call (631) 325-0200 

3. Hampton Bays Tree Lighting

will hold its annual tree lighting and visit with santa on December  5 at 4:00 p.m. at 69 West Montauk Hwy.  For more information, call (631)728-2211.  The event is free.

4. SASF and Holiday Bazaar

Santa will be on hand at the annual holiday bazaar on December 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The bazaar is open to all. For more information, call (631) 723-2121.

5. Holiday Light Show

Take a trip to Lakeview Avenue in Bayport for the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County's annual light show.  Listen to holiday music while driving through a wooded path lit up with holiday lights.  The fee is $12 a car load and the show runs from December 3 through December 30.  For more information, call (631)543-6622.

6. Annual Westhampton Beach Christmas Tree and Menorah Lighting Ceremony 

Take the family to enjoy a festive filled evening on December 5 at 5:30 p.m. at the Village Green in Westhampton. There will be caroling, free hot cocoa and cookies.  For more information, call (631) 288-3337.

7.  Chanukah Party

The Jewish Center of the Hamptons invites the community to celebrate Chanukah with a party on December 5 at 44 Woods Lane in East Hampton from 10:00 a.m. to noon. There will be a candle-lighting, songs, face painting, Chanukah crafts and a raffle.  The entrance fee is a donation of non-perishable canned or boxed food. 8. Holiday Caroling

Chime in with holiday songs for some holiday caroling around Southampton on Thursday December 9 at 2:00 p.m. Caroling starts at the Rogers Memorial Library, Windmill Lane and finishes at the Rogers Mansion 17 Meeting House Lane. The event is free.  

9. WinterFest  

The Westhampton Beach Annual Holiday WinterFest will be held on December 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The event, orchestrated by the Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Corcoran Group Real Estate and TD Bank, will feature kids activity craft stations, holiday treats and story time with Mrs. Claus. 10. Holiday House Tour

On December 18, the will hold its first annual Holiday House Tour. Families can visit five Quogue houses festively decorated for the holidays. House Tour from from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $50 and will be  available from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Quogue Library, 90 Quogue Street on December 18.
