There are numerous local places to shop for the ecologically-minded.

Sometimes, the best gift doesn't come prepackaged in plastic. Instead, it is found on the back shelf of an antique shop.  Here is a list of places where anyone can find a unique, ecologically friendly holiday gift.

1.  World Village Fair Trade Market

3.  Southampton Historical Museum

The Southampton Historical Museum's shop not only has a sustainable gift section, but has a large selection of pottery and jewelry made by local artisans.  The museum is located at 17 Meeting House Lane, Southampton. For more information, call 283-2494.

4.  Wildflower Florist and Gifts
