MSG Varsity has Long Island football fans covered this weekend for both the Nassau and Suffolk county championship games. All eight games will be televised by the network on Optimum TV Channel 14, as well as streamed live on the web at www.msgvarsity.com/liveaccess. MSG Varsity’s unprecedented high school football championship coverage will feature Westhampton Beach High School's Sunday match-up against number one seed Sayville on Monday night at 10:30 pm.
“Coming into the Nassau and Suffolk County football finals, we’re looking at some great match-ups. With undefeated, number one seed teams like Lawrence, Babylon and Sayville, as well as underdog teams like number six seed Sachem East and number four seed Valley Stream North who battled their ways to the finals, there’s really no telling who will win each championship game,” said Michael Lardner, Executive Producer and Senior Vice President MSG Varsity. “This is what great high school football is all about, and we’re thrilled to be covering every one of the Long Island championship football games this weekend.”
Following is the schedule for when each championship game will be played (and available for live viewing online and via the MSG Varsity app), as well as when each will be televised on MSG Varsity:
Suffolk County Finals:
- Sunday, November 25th at 11:00 am- Division 1: William Floyd vs. Sachem East will air on Tuesday, November 27th at 9:00 pm
- Sunday, November 25th at 3:00 pm- Division 2: North Babylon vs. Riverhead will air on Monday, November 26th at 7:30 pm
- Sunday, November 25th at 6:30 pm- Division 3: Sayville vs. Westhampton will air on Monday, November 26th at 10:30 pm
- Monday, November 26th at 6:00 pm- Division 4: Mt. Sinai vs. Babylon will air on Thursday, November 29 at 10:30 pm
Nassau County Finals:
- Friday, November 23rd at 12:00 pm- Conference 1: Farmingdale vs. Baldwin will air on Sunday, November 25th at 9:00 am
- Friday, November 23rd at 4:00 pm- Conference 3: Lawrence vs. Plainedge will air on Wednesday, November 28th at 10:30 pm
- Sunday, November 25th at 11:00 am- Conference 2: Garden City vs. Wantagh will air on Wednesday, November 28th at 7:30 pm
- Sunday, November 25th at 3:00 pm- Conference 4: Valley Stream North vs. Roosevelt will air on Thursday, November 29th at 7:30 pm
