Caelinn (age 11) and Saorla (age 8) had a successful fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Hospital on Sunday. The event took place at the American Legion Hall in Hampton Bays. It was a family trivia game and a great time was had by all!
The team with the highest score after 8 rounds of questions walked away with passes to the new All Star Bowling Alley and a gift certificate to Buckley's Inn Between. There were many other door prize raffles given out throughout the event.
Caelinn and Saorla worked extremely hard to organize this fundraiser. They discovered St. Jude's hospital nearly two years ago and these girls were so touched by the hospital's mission that they wanted to find a way to help. The Trivia Game fundraiser was their idea and they worked for weeks to prepare questions and prizes, even the event flyer.
All together, with donations from family and friends that were unable to make the event, and with the money they raised at the fundraiser, the girls raised $1610 for St. Jude Children's Hospital.
