Enter Bideawee's Love Your Pet Art Contest

*Editor's Note: Thank you to Bideawee for posting this in Patch's announcement section.

Bideawee invites children to participate in our 5th annual “Love Your Pet Art Contest & Expo.”  Children grades 1- 8 are encouraged to use their artistic talent to express their love for animals.  Art entries can represent any medium including drawings, photos, paintings, sculpture, and finger painting, and must be accompanied by the Artwork Entry Form, which can be downloaded at www.bideawee.org/loveyourpet

The first 300 art entries will be displayed at Bideawee to be viewing by the public on February 8, 9 & 10th.  All are invited to view these expressions of love for pets and vote for their favorite entries.  A $5 donation will grant entrance into the show and help continue to care for the pets in need at Bideawee.

Prizes will be awarded in four groupings based on the child’s grade year in school: 1st - 2nd, 3rd - 4th,

5th - 6th and 7th - 8th.  All winning students will receive prizes from Splish Splash, Tanger Outlets, Dave & Busters, Long Island Aquarium and more!  The Teachers of the winning students will received a $100 Visa Gift Card from Teachers Federal Credit Union.

Submit artwork to the Bideawee Adoption Center, 118 Old Country Road in Westhampton between

10am and 5pm, seven days a week no later than February 4, 2013.  This event is sponsored by Teachers Federal Credit Union.  For more information, please visit www.bideawee.org/loveyourpet
