Flu Shots at the Library on Wednesday

— Today will bring sunny skies. Weather.com predicts temps will reach 80 degrees with a 0 percent chance of rain.

— Read an inspirational story about a Hampton Bay Firefighter who ran the Tunnels to Tower run in New York City after having a double lung transplant here.

— Get your flu shot at the Hampton Bays Library today. From 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. the Rite Aid's Flu Shot clinic will be on hand. Find out more here.

— Sign up your daughters in grades 1-8 for a free Field Hockey clinic sponsored by the Hampton Bays Booster Club on Oct. 19 from 10:00 a.m to noon. Find out more here.

— St. Marks Church of Westhampton Beach has announced that it will hold its annual blessing of the pets on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. All creatures are welcome.

— Paint a Christmas tree. Hampton Art Space has holiday ornaments now ready for painting. If you paint a tree now, you can paint an ornament for free.
