Teen Busted for Throwing Party; Mom Arrested for Slapping Her

Mother Cynthia Dilonardo hit with a violation for slapping her daughter for throwing a bash at the family's Westhampton summer home.

Police arrested a 54-year-old woman from Manhasset on Aug. 3 after she allegedly slapped her 19-year-old daughter – who police had arrested just moments before for hosting a booze-filled party at the family's Westhampton summer home.

were called to a party on Oneck Road around 9:17 p.m., and discovered a number of teens drinking alcohol. They broke up the party and charged the 19-year-old with violating Suffolk County’s social host law.

Police say her mother, Cynthia Dilonardo came to the home before the cops left and when she saw and heard what happened, slapped her daughter across the face in front of the police.

Police charged the mother with second-degree harassment, a violation.
