Photo of the Day: Seagulls Take Over Ice Rink
The rink was installed last winter at a cost of $4,500.
With the warm temperatures, ducks and seagulls have taken over the Westhampton Beach ice skating rink, which has yet to freeze this winter.
The Westhampton Beach ice skating rink, located at the village marina, was installed by the village last January at a cost of $4,500. Made of plastic piping, the rink, said Mayor Contrad Teller, was installed to provide a winter activity for families and drive traffic to Main Street.
