Hampton Bays Students Hold 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony [VIDEO]

Students honor fallen heroes, police, firefighters, and service volunteers.

On Friday, nearly 1,500 students from Hampton Bays Middle School and Elementary School celebrated the memory and honored those who lost their lives and served on 9/11, and continue to serve and protect today.

A handful of students read poems in remembrance of the 10-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks, and all students lined up in the shape of "9/11," with a red, white, and blue ribbon in between the numbers.

The ceremony has been performed every year since the attacks.
