Services for John C. Lindahl, 59, of East Quogue will be held on Thursday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sinnickson’s Moriches Funeral Home in Center Moriches. A funeral ceremony will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Lindahl's body was discovered on Monday in a march in the Shinnecock Bay near Dolphin Lane in East Quogue.  The discovery was made after Lindahl's son called the Shinnecock Coast Guard Station to report his father missing around noon on Monday.

Police say Lindahl's son told them that his father left on Sunday in his 18-foot skiff to check duck blinds.
